Finally! (I just cannot hide it) is a queer journal developed and edited by Kiyoshi Yamamoto and myself. Our two main goals with this project—and all the projects we do together—are to highlight queer stories in Norway and to use the tools available to us to help strengthen this community. We live in turbulent times, with so much uncertainty and hatred targeted towards queer people, and we felt the urgent need to create a space where we could be together, have healthy discussions, and empower each other. This space was created and took shape as two workshops held at Kiosken, in Bergen, in 2024: one about safety hosted by Runa Halleraker and Tobias Kvendseth, and another one about intimacy hosted by Maya Økland and Tatjana Kolpus. The workshops were the first step and helped develop the first edition of the journal.
